Two Fresno State Doubles Teams Ranked

FRESNO, Calif. - A pair of Fresno State doubles combinations were ranked in the Top 90 in the latest ITA Tennis Rankings released on Tuesday.
Bulldog junior Rikus de Villiers and Remi Boutillier remained in the Top 25 at No. 22 and seniors Mirko Zapletal and Taylor Leiby entered the rankings for the second time this season at No. 88.
Boutillier and de Villiers have posted a 23-3 record together this season and currently own an eight-match winning streak, which include wins over No. 72 Kiryl Harbatsiuk and Marko Starcevic of Sacramento State and No. 12 Oleksandr Nedovyesov and Aleksey Bessonov of Oklahoma State.
Zapletal and Leiby are 18-8 on the year and in the fall qualified for the championship match of the ITA Northwest Regional Doubles Tournament.
As a team, Fresno State is ranked No. 30 in the latest rankings. The Bulldogs are currently riding a two-match winning streak and have seven wins this season against ranked teams.
