Senior Day Set for Thursday

FRESNO, Calif. - No. 30 Fresno State will square off against Cal Poly on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center, as part of Senior Day for Mirko Zapletal, Tejesvi Veerepalli and Taylor Leiby.
All three seniors have played the entirety of their college career at Fresno State and helped the Bulldogs advance to two WAC Championship matches and this season qualify for the ITA National Team Indoors Sweet 16.
The Bulldogs enter the contest with a two-match winning streak and have won four of their last six matches.
The Fresno State lineup features two nationally-ranked doubles teams in No. 22 Rikus de Villiers and Remi Boutillier and No. 88 Leiby and Zapletal.
Cal Poly is 7-12 overall on the year and currently own a two-match winning streak. The Mustangs are 3-1 in Big West conference play.
In 2009 the Bulldogs opened their season against Cal Poly, with a 6-1 win at home.
This will be the 20th meeting between the `Dogs and the Mustangs, with Fresno State holding a 15-4 advantage in the series history.
