Three 'Dogs Named All-WAC

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State doubles team of Remi Boutillier and Rikus de Villiers picked up First Team All-WAC honors and three Bulldog individuals received Second Team All-WAC honors.
Mirko Zapletal, Boutillier and de Villiers were named Second Team All-WAC.
Boutillier and de Villiers went 25-3 together this season, including a 3-1 mark in WAC play. The duo is currently ranked No. 24 nationally and is 4-0 on the season against ranked opponents. In the fall portion of the season, they went 7-0 together.
In singles play, Boutillier went 21-6 overall and 5-0 against WAC foes. In the spring season, he was particularly hot, as he compiled a 19-3 record in dual matches.
Individually de Villiers went 21-12 on the season, while playing mostly at No. 2. Zapletal anchored the No. 1 spot for the Bulldogs with his powerful serve and picked up two wins on the season against ranked opponents.
