Boutillier and de Villiers Going to NCAA Doubles Championship

FRESNO, Calif. - The NCAA announced Fresno State's 23rd-ranked doubles team of Rikus de Villiers and Remi Boutillier will compete in the 2010 NCAA Doubles Championships on May 26-31 in Athens, Ga.
The Bulldog duo is 25-3 on the season and posted an impressive 4-0 mark against ranked opponents during the 2009-10 season.
The NCAA selects 32 doubles teams to participate in the championships and every conference receives an automatic bid for the tournament. Boutillier and de Villiers earned the WAC's automatic bid to the doubles championships and will be the only WAC combo in the tournament.
The doubles championship will begin after the conclusion of the team championships. All matches will be best of three sets and sets will be first one to six games with a 12-point tiebreaker at six games all.
