Football Game Day Provides Plenty Of Entertainment

FRESNO, Calif. - The return of the Fresno State football team to Bulldog Stadium, brings many options for fans to enjoy Saturday, Oct. 2.
The Bulldogs host their second annual Football Fiesta against Cal Poly, with the game starting at 7 p.m. But the festivities begin several hours before.
Saturday's game will not be shown on television, so your only chance to watch the Bulldogs is live at Bulldog Stadium.
Here is a list of events for Saturday:
Bulldog Boulevard - For years Bulldog Boulevard has been a fan favorite. Fresno State's flagship station KMJNow sponsors the ultimate pre-game fan experience, with great family entertainment and food vendors. Located in the Red Lot, Bulldog Boulevard opens at 3 p.m. and admission is free.
Football Fiesta Tailgate Party - For the second straight year, Fresno State is hosting Football Fiesta, as it celebrates Hispanic Heritage throughout the valley. This year, Lotus Fresno (La Buena and ESPN Deportes), along with Univision will be holding a tailgate party in the White Lot (Westside of Bulldog Stadium). Admission is free to the party, which will feature live music and will open at 3 p.m. Fans can purchase food and beverages at the tailgate party.
ESPN 1430 Game Day Live - For the first time this season, ESPN 1430's Game Day Live will be in the White Lot (Westside of Bulldog Stadium). The new location will provide an excellent atmosphere, as ESPN 1430 hosts a pre-game tailgate party.
Farmers Insurance Cinch Bags - Game Sponsor Farmers Insurance will be handing out Fresno State cinch bags to the first 1,500 fans that enter Bulldog Stadium. The navy blue cinch bags have a large Bulldog Logo on the front, along with a Farmers Insurance logo. They will be available at all four gates, until supplies last.
Dog Pound - Fresno State students will have the opportunity to earn points through the Dog Pound Student Rewards Program by attending Saturday's game against Cal Poly. Students receive free sponsorship prizes for attending Fresno State Athletic events, and only eight points are needed to be eligible.
Bulldog Shop - The Bulldog Shop offers plenty of official Fresno State merchandise and is open on game days, beginning at 9 a.m. and open until kickoff at 7 p.m. The Bulldog Shop also has four kiosks inside the stadium and one location at Bulldog Boulevard.
Wear Red - Fans are encouraged to show their support of Fresno State Athletics by wearing red on Friday's, prior to the football game on Saturday. Whether it's at work, school or just running errands, wear red and support Fresno State. Wearing red to a Fresno State football game is always encouraged.
"We Are Your Team!" Fresno State returns home Oct. 2 in the Football Fiesta Game vs. Cal Poly. Season tickets and mini-plans are available for the remaining six home games by clicking the tickets icon at the top of this page. The only way to watch the Cal Poly game is at Bulldog Stadium.
