Indoor Track And Field Wraps Up NM Invite

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Fresno State indoor woman's track and field team began the season at the New Mexico Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., wrapping up the two-day event on Saturday night.

The Bulldogs were led by Rosario Sanchez, who finished third in the shot put with a distance of 15.24 meters.
In the 60-meter hurdles, Erin Morris finished sixth with a time of 8.71 and the team of Breeauna Thompson, Tiera Hilliard, Taylor Jackson and Latrisha Jordan finished fourth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:53.36.
Taylor Jackson finished eighth in the triple jump with a distance of 11.80 meters and in the mile run, Saylah Barserian finished ninth with a time of 5:11.21.
Breeauna Thompson finished in eighth place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.77 and Latrisha Jordan finished 12th with a time of 57.43.
The Bulldogs return to the indoor track at the Husky Invitational, beginning Feb. 11, running through Feb. 13 in Seattle, Wash.
