`Dogs Compete in Finals Tomorrow

FRESNO,Calif. -
It's come down to a `Dog against `Dog battle at the men's tennis annual Bulldog Classic. Fresno State's senior Jean Charles Diame and sophomore Francis Alcantara will meet tomorrow at the Wathen Tennis Center to see who will take the final win in the men's open singles.
Diame defeated fellow teammate junior Zach Leslie in a 6-4, 6-3 game on Saturday at the Sierra Sports and Racket Club, while Alcantara took home the win against Pacific's Chase Melton.
Senior David Ayoun also moved to the final round after defeating Southern California's Jonny Wang 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 in Flight B Singles. Ayoun will play Nevada's Wessem Derbel tomorrow.
Newcomers, Leslie and freshman Sai Kartik Nakireddi are in the finals for doubles play in the final day of the tournament. Play begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Wathen Tennis Center.
