Boutillier Advances To Round Of 16

Senior Remi Boutillier became the first Bulldog since 2008 to make the Round of 16 at the ITA All-American on Thursday, as he won two singles matches at Tulsa.
After defeating Stephen Hoh of Illinois, 6-3,6-4, in the round of 64, Boutillier moved on to play in the Round of 32.
In a tough match against Tulsa's Ashley Watling, Boutillier made the final call with a score of, 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 and ended the day on a high note.
"Conditions were tough today and my second match could have gone either way," Boutillier said. "I'm just glad to come out on top."
The last Fresno State player to make it to the round of 16 at the All-Americans was Rudolf Siwy.
Boutillier looks to advance in the quarterfinals as play at the ITA All-American continues tomorrow.
