FRESNO, Calif. - Crazy Monkey spent the Thanksgiving Holiday with sophomore Taylor Thompson and the Fresno State women's basketball team in Texas. The Bulldogs hit the road for SMU's Hoops for the Cure Tournament, which the `Dogs won for the first time!
November 23, 2011
Today Crazy Monkey and I traveled to Dallas, Texas. This time we traveled by plane instead of a bus. CM loved the plane ride, which was three hours. We slept for majority of the plane ride. When we got to the hotel, CM and I were ready to go to practice. He watched our team practice then we went to dinner. He was so hungry! After dinner, we went to our hotel room and called it a night after a long day of traveling and practicing.

CM and I woke up and went to practice again. CM watched carefully over the Bulldogs, he made sure we were working hard and knew everything that was going on. Before leaving the gym, CM waited for me to shower and get ready for our Thanksgiving lunch! CM was nervous to meet my family. We finally got to see my family and they loved CM. We all ate the wonderful Thanksgiving lunch and were very full afterwards. We also got to play football and hang out it in the yard with the whole team. CM went home with Coach Frank's niece, Emma, for a sleep over that night! They were very excited!

I woke up a little on the early side but we had to get up for pre game meal and shoot around. We went to Chili's for lunch and filled ourselves up! We went to shoot around to get ready for the game. Game time at 4! CM watched us beat Tennessee State with Emma! Emma let CM borrow some pom poms to help cheer us on. I got CM back after the game! We went to dinner and called it a night!

We woke up to get some breakfast and then got ready for shoot around. CM watched us prepare for our game. We went to Chili's again for lunch. We relaxed until it was time to go to the game. Game time at 7! CM watched the game with Emma again. They watched us beat SMU for the Championship! We spent time with my family that night until it was time to call it a night.

We spent time with my family that morning until it was time to say our goodbyes. CM and I are going to miss my family. We went to the airport and flew to Fresno together. As we sat on the plane, CM broke the news to me... he was leaving me, but only to make new friends on the team. He told me that he was going to spend some time with Alex Sheedy! Yay!
