'Dogs Impress In Away Tournament's

The Fresno State women's tennis doubles team of sophomore Marianne Jodoin and junior Melissa McQueen are back in action, and are living up to expectations.
The duo went head-to-head with Michigan's Kristen Dodge and Sarah Lee and pulled out an, 8-6 win at Arizona State's Thunderbird Invitational.
Jodoin is also making her mark in singles play.
In the Round of 32, ASU's Joanna Smith couldn't keep up with the Bulldog, and was defeated, 6-1, 6-3. Kentucky's Karla Bonacic saw the same fate in the Round of 16. Jodoin's, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 victory advanced her into Saturday's tournament against California's Zsof Susanyi.
For the Fresno State men's tennis team, senior Remi Boutillier defeated Georgia's 6th ranked Wil Spencer, 6-3, 6-2 in the Round of 32 at the National Indoor Competition
Boutillier advanced to the Round of 16 to compete against Oklahoma's Constin Paval in Friday's tournament. The Bulldog was short, 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.
Boutillier was the only player from the WAC represented in the tournament for singles play.
Both Boutillier and Jodoin were named the Verizon WAC player's of the Month.
