Boutillier named WAC Player of the Month

DENVER, Colo. - Fresno State's Remi Boutillier was named the Verizon Western Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Month for November.

Boutillier, a senior from Briancon, France, played in the prestigious National Indoor Competition in Queens, N.Y., where he was the only player competing from the Western Athletic Conference. In the Round of 32, Boutillier defeated Georgia's Wil Spencer, the sixth-ranked player in the country, 6-3, 6-2. Boutillier, was able to avenge his loss to Spencer at the ITA All-American Championships in October. In the Round of 16 he went up against No. 17 Constin Paval out of Oklahoma, and after winning the first set 6-3, he dropped sets two and three, 6-4, 7-5, to lose the match.
