GoBulldogs.com: You played against some of biggest programs in college football here at Fresno State, including your 2007 game at Texas A&M when you caught three touchdown passes. Looking back at your collegiate career, how much did Fresno State's philosophy of playing the best teams in the nation add to your experience as a Bulldog football player?
Bear Pascoe: "Playing high ranked teams was one of the main reasons I decided to go play there. As a college athlete you looked forward to playing in front of big, big crowds against big teams. Being able to have that experience at Fresno made my time there outstanding."
GoBulldogs.com: You've made the conversion from playing tight end to fullback for the Giants. How has that transition gone for you?
Bear Pascoe: "The transition from TE to FB has been really good. There have been a few things that I had to adjust to as far as the blocking technique, but I have been able to pick it up and adjust to what I need to get done. I have enjoyed being on the field helping the Giants win games."
GoBulldogs.com: You are in your third season with the New York Giants, how has that experience been being with their organization?
Bear Pascoe: "It's been a great experience playing for the Giants. I have had the opportunity to get on the field and make some plays and I have tried to take advantage of every opportunity I get on and off the field."
GoBulldogs.com: How neat of an experience is it playing on Monday Night Football in front of a national audience?
Bear Pascoe: "It is an amazing experience. To run out of the tunnel with a pack stadium and knowing the whole country is watching you. Makes your hair stand up and the adrenaline rush is awesome."
GoBulldogs.com: "What are a couple of your favorite memories on the football field, whether it be from high school, college or in the NFL?
Bear Pascoe: "In college the Texas A&M game was a big game for me, at the time to tie a school record with three touchdowns was really cool even though we lost that game. In the NFL, one of my favorite memories was in my rookie year, last game of the season, I got my first regular season catch for a first down."
GoBulldogs.com: "Growing up in the Valley on a cattle ranch, what has it been like for you living in New York?
Bear Pascoe: "It has been a bit of a change for me, there are not to many wide open spaces. On the other hand, New York is a really fun city and I have enjoy getting to experience such an amazing place."
GoBulldogs.com: What was your student-athlete experience like here at Fresno State?
Bear Pascoe: "I had a great student-athlete experience, I definitely had to make sure I stayed up with my school work. Overall it was a good time."
GoBulldogs.com: What are some of the unknown challenges of being an NFL player that the general public might not know about?
Bear Pascoe: "I would say time management, we are so busy during the week with football. Whether it be practice and meetings to watching extra film learning about your opponent that week. When our day off rolls around we have errands to run and most of the time all we want to do is sleep all day."
GoBulldogs.com: Have you taught any of Giants how to Rope? And do you have anytime to practice roping in the Big Apple?
Bear Pascoe: "No haven't taught anyone on the team to rope. No ropin' practice during the city, probably to closest I get to roping in the big apple is watching the NFR on TV."
