FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's soccer team announced the first of its spring Free Clinics on Sunday, April 3rd at 10:30 a.m. The clinic is open to boys and girls aged 4-13 and will be coached by the Bulldogs coaching staff and players.
The clinic is now FULL and can no longer accept applications.
"We are very much committed to further developing soccer in the Fresno area," Commented Coach Zwaschka, "Our clinics are designed to encourage and develop both players and coaches, and we have been very proud of the attendance and feedback that we have received from our previous clinics"
The clinic will run for about 90 minutes and is geared towards fun and technical development and will allow the players to rotate through a number of soccer based games. Players of all ability levels are welcome.
Sign up for this clinic in advance by emailing Kendra Miller at kendram@csufresno.edu. Please include the names, ages and gender of each child. Spaces are very much limited and previous clinics have filled up weeks in advance so please sign up as soon as possible. We are also unable to accept coaches signing up entire teams due to issues with no-shows, so please have parents sign their children up directly.
The coaching staff will also be holding a coaching clinic designed for parents and coaches to run alongside the clinic. Attendance is free and you have to sign up by email. The focus will be on developing technical skills and a love of the game in youth players.
This clinic is being held in conjunction with Fresno State hosting Stanislaus State in a women's soccer match that kicks off at 1pm and attendees are encouraged to attend and admission is free. Lunch will be available for purchase on site. All proceeds will go to the women's soccer team.
