Bulldogs Announce Spring Schedule

FRESNO, Calif. -
The 2011 soccer season is still months away, but the Fresno State women's soccer team preparations have already begun. The Bulldogs are coming off their fourth appearance in the NCAA Tournament and are working hard in the offseason with work outs and start a six game spring schedule on March 19.
The spring team consists of returning players from the 2010 Western Athletic Conference Tournament Championship team. The Dogs kick off the offseason schedule with four games at home.
The first game is against the Clovis Sidekicks on Saturday, March 19 at 1 p.m. Followed by a game on March 31 against CSU Bakersfield at 1 p.m. The Bulldogs also host Cal State Stanislaus on April 3 at 1 p.m. and Fresno Pacific on April 10 at 12 p.m.
Fresno State travels to Santa Clara on May 1. The Broncos made it the second round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament before losing to Stanford, 2-1. The final game of the spring, the Dogs play their Alumni on May 7 at 10 a.m.
