Track And Field Off To Brutus Invite

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State men's and women's track and field teams are set to compete at the 2011 Brutus Hamilton Invitational on Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23 in Berkeley, Calif.

This will be the final road meet of the season, before the Bulldogs host the Bulldog Invitational on Saturday, April 30 at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis.
Following the home meet, Fresno State competes in the WAC Outdoor Championships, May 10-13 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

In the women's 400-meter, Tiera Hilliard finished 20th with a time of 55.44 and in the men's 100-meter, Cameron Parker finished 14th with a time of 10.85. Breeauna Thompson finished ninth overall in the women's 200-meter with a time of 24.10 and in the men's 5000-meter, Paul Zwama finished in fourth place with a time of 14:14.16.
In the women's shot put, Meagan McKee finished 17th with a distance of 13.82 and Raul Gonzales finished 17th in the men's hammer throw with a distance of 55.36.
