FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Soccer team announced the last of its Spring Free Clinics. The last free clinic is on Friday, May 6th. The clinics are open to boys and girls aged 4-13 and will be coached by the Bulldog coaching staff and players.
"These clinics are very much a part of our commitment to developing soccer in the Valley and giving back to the community," said head coach Brian Zwaschka. "To see hundreds of kids having fun and learning the game that has given so much to us, is very rewarding for our staff and players."
The clinics will run from 5:00 -6:00 p.m. or 6:30-7:30 p.m. Each clinic has a maximum of 120 spaces available. The clinics are geared towards fun and technical development and will allow the players to rotate through a number of soccer based games. Players of all ability levels are welcome.
To sign up for one of the clinics in advance email Kendra Miller (kendram@csufresno.edu) with the names, ages, gender of each child and which clinic you want to attend. Spaces are limited so sign up as soon as possible. Parents must sign their children up directly and coaches can't sign up their whole team.
The coaching staff will also be holding a pair of coaching clinics designed for parents and coaches of the above aged players to run alongside the clinics. Attendance is free but you must also sign up by email. The focus will be on developing technical skills and a love of the game in youth players.
Those who attend the clinic will receive a 10 percent discount to any single summer day camp will be available to those that sign up at the clinic. Click here for info on the Fresno State Summer Camps.
