Udwadia Adds Four to Men's Tennis Roster

FRESNO, Calif. - The reigning Western Athletic Conference champion Fresno State men's tennis team added four new Bulldogs to its roster for the 2011-12 season, head coach Jay Udwadia announced today.
Udwadia inked Sai Kartik Nakireddi to a National Letter of Intent and signed Zachary Leslie to an athletics aid agreement while Reid Delaubenfels and Jeremy Quiroz officially accepted their admission to Fresno State with the intention of joining the team this fall.
Nakireddi joins the Dogs as a true freshman from India and earned a ranking as high as No. 67 in the 2011 ITF World Junior Rankings.
Leslie is transferring to play for the Bulldogs after playing his first two collegiate seasons at Wake Forest. He was ranked in the top 10 as a United States Junior and No. 1 in the SoCal Section.
Delaubenfels (Seattle, Wash.) is also a top ranked incoming true freshman and reached No. 105 on tennis recruiting and No. 2 in the Northwest Region.
Meanwhile, Quiroz, who is originally from Bakersfield, Calif., is transferring to Fresno State from Niagara University, where he played No. 1 singles and doubles in 2010.
Last season, Fresno State won the 2011 WAC regular season and tournament championships and also advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
