FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State fans attending the Bulldog football game against the Cal Golden Bears on Saturday afternoon in San Francisco, received a heads up on what the weather will be like thanks to NBC Bay Area.
For Bulldog fans making the trip from the Valley to the Bay Area, NBC Bay Area wanted to make sure no Fresno State fan was surprised. With a game time of 4 p.m. on Saturday at Candlestick Park, fans need to be aware of what to pack for the game.
NBC Bay Area meteorologist Christina Loren took time out of her busy schedule to produce a special segment for football fans attending the game.
The weather calls for a temperature of 69 degrees for kickoff with clear skies, while dropping to 62 degrees with some fog rolling in around 6 p.m. Loren says the forecast doesn't call for windy conditions on Saturday afternoon or evening.
The Alumni Association pre-game Bulldog Bash Tailgate kicks off at 12 p.m. in the North Entrance Pavilion of Candlestick Park.
All tailgate lots will open four hours prior to kickoff and they will close at the start of the game. There is also a no re-entry policy at Candlestick Park.
"We Are Your Team!" - Fresno State football season tickets are now on sale, with six great home games on the slate in 2011. Tickets are available through the Bulldog Ticket Office by calling 559-278-DOGS (3647) or visiting gobulldogs.com.
