DENVER, Colo. - Fresno State men's tennis student-athlete David Ayoun, was named the Verizon WAC Player of the Week of Feb. 19-25.
The senior earned his first honor of the season when he went 2-0 in singles and doubles against UNLV last Sunday.
Against No. 63 UNLV, Ayoun and partner Jean-Charles Diame clinched the point for the `Dogs with their victory over Johannes Markel and Rene Ruegamer, 8-3, at No. 3 doubles.
