Football Spring Game Set For March 25

FRESNO, Calif. - For the first time in 2012, Fresno State football fans will have the opportunity to see head coach Tim DeRuyter's squad during the spring game Sunday, March 25 at 12 p.m. in Bulldog Stadium.
The spring game will be free to the public, and will feature an hour and thirty minute scrimmage. This year's scrimmage will be played in Bulldog Stadium and parking is free in the Blue and Red lots surrounding the stadium.
The Bulldogs will be preparing for the start of the 2012 season, which will feature six home games, including the home opener on Sept. 1 against Weber State.
Fresno State follows its season opener at home with a road game at Oregon on Sept. 8, followed by a home game against Colorado on Sept. 15 and its final non-conference game at Tulsa on Sept. 22.
Entering their first year in the Mountain West Conference, the Bulldogs will play eight conference games, including four home games. The home opponents will be Air Force, Hawai'i, San Diego State and Wyoming.
Fresno State's four road opponents will be Boise State, Colorado State, Nevada and New Mexico. The Bulldogs will not play UNLV in their first season. The full conference schedule with dates and times will be released by the conference office in the beginning of March.
