FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State football team concludes spring football this Sunday when the Bulldogs play their annual spring game at noon in Bulldog Stadium.
The spring game will consist of four quarters with a 15-minute running clock and the team will be split in two, a red team and a white team.
Admission is free and this will be the final chance for Bulldog fans to see head coach Tim DeRuyter's squad in their new offensive and defensive schemes until fall camp begins next August.
The Bulldog Sports Network will be on the air from noon-2 p.m. at KMJ 580 AM calling the spring game. The radio crew, led by Paul Loeffler, will interview coaches throughout the scrimmage and players afterwards, delivering special insight into the game and the Bulldogs' new up-tempo brand of football.
The Bulldog Shop, located on Cedar and Barstow Avenues, will be open this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Starting April 19, the Bulldog Shop will have its annual spring cleaning sale with selected items up to 70 percent off.
Parking will be available in the Red and Blue lots by Bulldog Stadium. Fans are asked to enter through the south gate and sit on the west side of the stadium.
The Bulldog ticket office will be open from 11 a.m. until the game ends selling season tickets.
Following the spring game, the Fresno State football team will host the Bulldog Youth Experience that is intended for boys and girls ages 8-13 at no cost to the participants.
Participants will develop football skills in a fun, safe and enjoyable atmosphere. There will be four 10-minute segments teaching the fundamentals of form tackling, running, ball skills and blocking. All participants will be instructed by the Bulldog coaching staff and players.
