Harlan Tabbed as WAC Pitcher of the Week

DENVER - Fresno State senior pitcher Thomas Harlan was named the Verizon Western Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for March 19-25.
This is the second honor of the season for Harlan and marked the Bulldogs' third conference weekly award of the year.
Harlan, a senior from San Bruno, Calif. (Archbishop Riordan HS), pitched eight scoreless innings and struck out 10 batters without allowing a run last week.
Harlan made two appearances and posted a 1-0 record, along with his first save of the season and fourth of his career.
In his start, Harlan recorded six strikeouts in six scoreless frames as Fresno State downed Kent State 14-2.
In his relief appearance, Harlan earned the save as he pitched the final two innings, recording four strikeouts to secure a 2-1 win over UC Riverside for Fresno State.
The Bulldogs host the California Golden Bears on Tuesday night at Beiden Field, with the first pitch slated for 6:05 p.m.
