FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's soccer program has set the date for its free spring soccer clinic, the coaching staff announced Thursday. The event will coincide with the Bulldogs' exhibition match against the University of San Francisco on April 21.
Designed for any child aged 4-12 years old, the clinic will begin at noon with the match to follow at 2 p.m. on the White lot, located west of Bulldog Stadium. It will last for one hour and lunch will be served at a minimal cost (burgers, hotdogs, etc. for $1 each).
Campers will be coached by members of the Fresno State soccer team in a variety of soccer-based games with an emphasis on fun and skill development. They will then have a chance to stay and watch their coaches take on USF.
Early signups are essential for the popular free event, as the clinic will be strictly capped at 100 campers due to space constraints.
To sign up, please E-mail Mason Stewart at masonstewart@mail.fresnostate.edu, and include the name, age and gender of your child. Guardians are permitted to only sign up their children. Campers must have a Release, Waiver and Assumption of Risk form completed on file before participation.
"We Are Your Team!" There is still time to learn from the some of the best coaches in college soccer. The Bulldogs have a Residential Camp coming June 26-29. You can stay connected with Fresno State Athletics on Facebook (fresnostateathletics) and Twitter (@FSAthletics).
