'Dogs Face Top-Ranked Field

FRESNO, Calif. - The women's golf team heads to the coast to compete in the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate hosted by UC Davis and Oregon. The second annual tournament is held at the 6,034-yard, par-72 Half Moon Bay Golf Links. The field features No. 1 UCLA and No. 3 USC along with seven other teams in the top 50. Last year, the Bulldogs finished in ninth out of 12 teams and Louisa Lies tied for 13th at 9-over, 225.

Bulldogs Take Ninth at Anuenue Spring Break Classic
The women's golf team finished the Anuenue Spring Break Classic right where they began the final day, in ninth place out of 14 teams. The Bulldogs shot a final round 32-over, 320 to finish at 79-over (315-308-320--943). Louisa Lies recorded her fifth top 20 finish of the season by tying for 18th at 11-over.
Uhalde Honored for Stanford Title
Sophomore Christine Uhalde was awarded both the WAC Golfer of the Week and Bulldog Student-Athlete of the week for her performance at the Peg Barnard Invitational in Stanford, Calif. Uhalde tied for the individual title at the tournament hosted by Stanford, her first medalist honor of her collegiate career. She fired a 1-under, 70 during the first round, marking both her lowest round of her career and the only under-par performance on the day. Uhalde finished the two-round tournament at 3-over par (70-75--145).
