Paint the Valley Red w/ Game Day in a Box

FRESNO, Calif. - The 2012 college football season is just around the corner and preparations for game day are beginning all across the Valley. Fresno State Athletics has partnered with the Fresno State Alumni Association and Fan in a Box to bring the Red Wave everything needed for game day in one box.
The Bulldogs released the newest tailgate must have with Game Day in a Box tailored just for the `Dogs and the Red Wave. Game Day in Box is available in an office edition or a tailgate edition, whether you are at the office or Bulldog Stadium fans can show they are Bulldog Born and Bulldog Bred.
"We want to paint the valley red and give our fans the best tailgate starter kit out there and Game Day in Box gives us the tool to do just that," said Paul Ladwig, Senior Associate Athletics Director of External Relations. "Being able to partner with the Fresno State Alumni Association to get this accomplished is tremendous and finding a local vendor to produce the Box was a key. Knowing the proceeds go towards the scholarship fund is a fantastic asset as well."
The Fresno State version is the first edition of Game Day in A Box. The project started when Fan in a Box owner Tim Leary approached the Fresno State Alumni Association about creating a Bulldog Fan in a Box. FSAA Director Jacquelyn Glasener saw potential for more and saw an opportunity to bring more Bulldog spirit to the Valley, especially on game day. The Fan in a Box concept was transformed on a much larger scale and Game Day in a Box was born.
"Fresno State has been about the Red Wave and the Valley for as long as I can remember," said Glasener. "Growing up with Big 10 football, the towns would turn inside out and bleed their team's colors on game day. We want to build on the Bulldog spirit that already exists all over the San Joaquin Valley. Game Day in a Box is a great way to show our pride and paint the Valley Red."
Game Day in a Box can be purchased on the Fresno State Alumni Association website or at the bulldog Shop for $125. Game Day in a box benefits the Bulldogs on and off the field as a portion of the proceeds go to the Bulldog Foundation Scholarship Fund and to the Fresno State Alumni Association programs and student scholarships. The office edition of Game Day in a Box includes, Game Field & Football, Rollabanas (3), Layards (5), PomPoms (6), Tattoos (50), Buttons (6), Baseball Hats (3), Decals (3), Coasters (6), Coozies (4), Banner (1), Pennant String (1).
The tailgate version of Game Day in a box contains, Game Field & Football, Rollabanas (3), Layards (5), Pennant String (1), Tattoos (50), Buttons (6), Plates (10), Cups (10), Bottle, Opener (1), Coozies (4), BBQ Set (1), Car Flag (2).
Both the office and tailgate versions come in a decorated box covered in Bulldog pride and play the Fresno State fight song when opened. Each box also includes $140 worth of coupons from various local businesses including, Roger Dunn golf for $10 of a purchase of $50 or more, $20 off a round of golf for up to 4 golfers at Sierra Meadows Country Club, buy one meal get one meal free at Chukchansi Resort and Casino, buy one pasta dish get one free from Piazz Del Pane and buy one two item combo plate and get one free from Revolucion.
