19 Bulldogs On NFL Rosters in 2013

FRESNO, Calif. - With the start of the 2013 NFL season this week, 32 teams across the country recently announced their respective 53-man rosters for the upcoming season. Fresno State will showcase 19 former Bulldog football players on various NFL rosters this year.
Of the 19, Fresno State will feature 14 players on an active 53-man roster, while four others will be on a practice squad and the latter has been placed on injured reserve. The 'Dogs matched the same number to make an active NFL roster spot from a season ago, which places second in the Mountain West behind Boise State who has 16 former players on an active roster in the NFL in 2013.
Fresno State also has more current NFL players on an active roster than five Pac-12 schools, topping: Washington (13), Arizona State (12), Arizona (11), Colorado (10) and Washington State (8).
