Fresno State Dominates at the UCSB Fall Classic

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State men's tennis team finished the first day of the UCSB Fall Classic on Friday evening with three singles wins and splitting in doubles play.
In Singles Flight A, freshman Adam Glynn defeated Cal (6-4, 6-4) and senior Sai Kartik Nakireddi defeated UC Santa Barbara (3-6, 6-2, 6-1). Freshman Youssef Hassan recorded a win over UC Riverside for the Bulldogs in singles Flight C (6-1, 6-1). Overall, the `Dogs walked away with three singles wins out of the four matches played on Friday.
In doubles play, Glynn teamed up with sophomore Euan McIntosh in a 8-2 win over UC Davis. Hassan and Kartik were also paired together in the doubles Flight B round and defeated UC Riverside, 8-4.
Fresno State will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 11 for day-two of the UC Santa Barbara Fall Invitational.
