Hey Bulldogs Fans,
Tanya here again. We have had a few very busy weeks with tournaments. Recently, Aishwarya and Sophie competed at the Arizona State Thunderbird Invitational and had an outstanding weekend going undefeated in doubles action and Sophie captured the singles title. It's safe to say they triumphed on championship Sunday and the team will use this momentum going into season.
We were presented with our Mountain West Championship Rings during the third quarter of the football game against Wyoming on Saturday, Nov. 1. We were very excited to receive them and see the rings for the first time because they represent how much hard work, sweat and dedication went into claiming the title. The team is anxious to compete for another Mountain West Championship and have the opportunity to be crowned back-to-back champions.
Although our hours are limited as we head into the offseason, there is still a lot we can work on and improve to prepare for our first match in early January. On the court we will be focusing on doubles and getting as much conditioning in as possible. We are excited for the next few weeks to make ourselves better and represent Bulldog Nation.
