FRESNO, Calif. After receiving National Letters of Intent from five student-athletes, third-year head softball coach Trisha Ford unveiled the program's 2015 signing class.
The incoming class consisting of four California natives and one out of state signee includes Dominique Jackson, Kaitlyn Jennings, Kira McKechnie, Morgan Howe and Xeana Kamalami Dung who plan to join Fresno State and the Bulldog softball program starting in the 2015-16 academic year.
Ford describes the well balanced class of multiple utility players, pitchers and infielders as versatile, fast and powerful.
"This is a very dynamic class and one that we are extremely excited to announce," head coach Trisha Ford said. "We have kids from up and down California and one from Hawaii, which was something that as a staff we set out to do. This class will come in and make an immediate impact on our program and help continue the strong traditions here at Fresno State."

"With one swing of the bat, Dominique can change the game. We needed some power in this class and Dominique fit that bill. Dominique is a player that everyone needs in their dugout. She has never met a stranger and will be a natural leader as soon as she arrives in Fresno. I am excited to see what she accomplishes as a Bulldog."
"I loved the coaching staff and the atmosphere at Fresno State," Jackson said. "The team is also very polite and fun."
