LOS ANGELES -- Shelbie Holden improved from her day one performance on the 3-meter board with a solid showing on the 1-meter on day two of the Trojan Diving Invitational at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center on the campus of USC.
After finishing 18th on the 3-meter on Friday, Holden scored a 229.80 in the 1-meter to finish 13th. The sophomore just missed out on the Top 12, which would have put her into the finals.

UCLA's Maria Polyakova knocked off USC's Haley Ishimatsu 320.65-275.70 to win the event.
