FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno State men's basketball team will play its only exhibition game on Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. PT versus UC Santa Cruz at the Save Mart Center.
Fresno State, who went 21-18 last season and advanced to the College Basketball Invitational championship series last April, has high expectations for the 2014-15 season despite being picked to finish seventh in the Mountain West conference race.
"We want to earn our ranking and we'll do that on the court," Bulldogs' fourth-year head coach Rodney Terry said. "Our guys have been working really hard this offseason and we have stressed how important it is to give everything you have on every play. Our goals remain on competing for a conference championship and in a league like the Mountain West, the teams that do that put themselves in the conversation to play in the NCAA Tournament."
The Bulldogs will open the regular season on Friday at Pepperdine with the home opener scheduled for Nov. 17 vs. Bristol at the Save Mart Center.
Season tickets and a "Conference & Cal" mini-plan are on sale now at www.GoBulldogs.com, by calling 559-278-DOGS or in person at the new Bulldog Ticket Office location at the Save Mart Center.
"Be Bold." -- Season tickets for the 2014-15 Fresno State men's basketball season are on sale now starting at $149 by calling 559-278-DOGS.
