Individual Notes
Jeff Camilli
- Posted 14 tackles in the game, giving him the third-straight game with 10 or more tackles. He becomes the first Bulldog since Ben Jacobs in 2008 to post double-digit tackles in three-consecutive games.
- Had seven tackles in the first quarter, topping the six he had in the first quarter against No. 21 Utah on Sept. 19. It tied Ejiro Ederaine (seven vs. Utah) for the most tackles in a first quarter of a game this season.
Ejiro Ederaine
- Had one sack in the game, giving him 3.0 sacks in the last two games.
- Broke up two passes in the game. He entered the evening with just three career pass breakups.
Charles Washington
- Had his first sack of the season in the first quarter. He became the eighth different Bulldog to have a sack this season.
- Finished the game with a season-high seven tackles.
KeeSean Johnson
- Caught a touchdown pass for the second-straight game.
Team Notes
- Fresno State's 89 yards of total offense is the fewest since the Bulldogs had 117 yards in a loss at No. 12 Tennessee in the 2003 season opener.
- This is the first game in the last 14 seasons (back through 2002) that Fresno State did not convert a third down in a game. The Bulldogs were 0-of-11 on third downs.
- Fresno State's offense went three-and-out on nine of its 12 possessions in the game, not counting its possession that was one play before the first half ran out.
- SDSU scored on the game's opening drive, using 10 plays to cover all 78 yards. It marked the fourth-straight game the opponent has scored on the Bulldogs on their first drive of the game. It was also the eighth opponent scoring drive this season that spanned 10 or more plays.
- Fresno State did not score in the first quarter for the third time in five games this season. The Bulldogs had just 42 yards in the opening quarter.
- Fresno State recovered one fumble in the game, its sixth fumble recovery of the season. The Bulldogs entered the game in a tie for second nationally in fumble recoveries.
- After SDSU had 78 yards on its first drive of the game, Fresno State held them to only 69 yards the rest of the first half.
- The Bulldogs were penalized six times in the game, tying their season high for most penalties in a game. Fresno State entered the game ranked in a tie for No. 9 in the FBS in fewest penalties.
