MW Preseason Poll Pegs 'Dogs Fifth

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Fresno State baseball team was picked to finish fifth in the 2015 Mountain West preseason poll, announced by the conference Tuesday morning.
Additionally, junior Taylor Ward was named to the 2015 preseason All-Conference team. All selections were based on votes by MW coaches - coaches could not vote on their own team or players.
Fresno State returns 23 players from its 2014 roster and brings in a conference-low nine newcomers to the 2015 squad. The 'Dogs will lean on veteran leadership to improve on its fifth-place preseason nod, and 2014 fifth-place finish. The Bulldogs posted a 13-17 conference record and 28-29 overall mark a season ago.
