Spring Showcase Set for March 28

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State is less than two weeks away from its Spring Showcase, the final practice of spring football that is open to the public and also features a free youth kid's clinic.
The Spring Showcase is being held in Bulldog Stadium on Saturday, March 28 starting at 10:30 a.m. It is free and open to the public, with gates opening at 9:30 a.m. 940 AM ESPN Radio will be broadcasting live on the Saturday of the Spring Showcase.
The event marks the end of spring football and offers Bulldog fans a first glimpse at the 2015 team that returns 14 starters and 29 lettermen.
When the scrimmage is complete, there will be stations set up on the field for kids eighth grade or younger to do fun football drills with the players and coaches. Participants will develop football skills in a fun, safe and enjoyable atmosphere. There will be four stations teaching the fundamentals of form tackling, running, ball skills and blocking. All participants will be instructed by the Bulldog coaching staff and players.
The team will also be available for photos and autographs on the field at the conclusion of the youth clinic.
The Bulldog Shop will be holding their biggest sale of the year at the stadium in conjunction with the Spring Showcase. Select merchandise will be on sale for as much as 50 or 75 percent off that Saturday in Bulldog Stadium, with their tables set up at the south entrance.
Pardini's, Fresno State's concessionaire, will have one stand open on the south side of Bulldog Stadium.
The format of the Spring Showcase is not a complete game, but there will be live team scrimmages, 7-on-7 drills, special teams work plus individual drills run throughout the session, providing fans a first-hand look at how the Bulldogs prepare for games.
