`Dogs Face Three Ranked Foes in Four Days

FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno State men's tennis team faces its toughest stretch of the season, taking on three ITA-ranked opponents on the road within a four-day stretch beginning with No. 72 UC Irvine on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., PT. The Bulldogs will then step back into Mountain West play with No. 37 San Diego State on Friday and No. 75 UNLV on Sunday.

Last Time Out
- The Bulldogs blanked both Air Force and Sonoma State 4-0 on Sunday. Sophomore Euan McIntosh lead the team by going 2-0 in both singles and doubles play.
Doubling Up
- Since Sai Kartik Nakireddi and Nikolas Papic teamed up in doubles beginning on Feb. 14, the duo has gone 10-3.
- Adam Glynn and Euan McIntosh are 7-3 on the year, though five of their matches have gone unfinished.
Winning From the Bottom
- Fresno State has relied on the back end of its order, as the team has posted records of 10-4, 13-3 and 11-6 at the four, five and six spots in the lineup.
- The .723 winning percentage between the bottom three spots is significantly higher than that of the .452 from the team's top three spots.
Shifting Lineup
- After going 5-5 in the opening 10 matches of the season, the Bulldogs switched around their line up and have since won six of their last eight.
- Playing in the top three spots, Euan McIntosh and Eric Komati moved down in the lineup and have since won a combined nine matches in a row.
Tough Road Against Ranked Opponents
- Fresno State has struggled this season against ranked opponents, going 0-4, but the `Dogs will have a chance to turn that around as they face four ranked teams in a seven-day span.
Swiss Freshman
- Since falling in in the first match of his career, Joshua Zeoli has been on a roll, losing just one match since Jan. 16.
- The freshman compiled a 7-2 record before being sidelined with an injury.
Papic Earning Conference Honors at Six
- Despite playing in the No. 6 position against Loyola Marymount , Nikolas Papic earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors on Feb. 26 after earning the dual-match clinching point in three sets. The native of Santiago, Chile also teamed up with Sai Kartik Nakireddi to capture the doubles clinching point.
