EL MACERO, Calif. - The Fresno State men's golf team finished in ninth place at the El Marcro Classic, hosted by UC Davis at El Macero Country Club. The Bulldogs carded a team score of 915, 51-over par.
Justin Avery, Cody Riecks and Keenan Nelson each tied for the lowest Fresno State 54-hole scores at 230, 14-over. The trio tied for 39th overall individually. Avery carded the lowest Sunday score, firing a 4-over 76.
UC Davis defended its team championship from a season ago, leading the field at 1-over (865). The Aggies' Luke Vivolo was the individual classic champion. He carded a 10-under 206.
