FSTC to Host Track Commission Tuesday

FRESNO, Calif. - This Tuesday, the Fresno State Track and Field Commission will welcome a two-time Olympian, an All-American and select Bulldog student-athletes at "Track Commission Tuesday". The event will be at Fleet Feet of Fresno in the Fort Washington Shopping Center.
There will be a social hour from 6-7 p.m., featuring $1 tacos from Guadalajara Restaurant, free drinks, and even Root Beer Floats for the kids provided by Riley's of Madera. The Q&A show, hosted by Marc Jones, A.K.A. Coach "Q" from ESPN 940, starts at 7 p.m.
The show will feature members of the women's 4x400m relay team that recently ran the No. 14 time in the country at 3:37.88 (Kyra Johnson, Njeri Omawahleh, Kimberley Efonye, Dezirae Johnson, and Nailah Harris-Murillo). Coach Q will also be visiting with Annemarie Schwanz, who recently broke the 5000m school record with a time of 16:23.63. Annemarie will be alongside former school record holder and Fresno State's first female All-American, Renee Ortiz-Harmon. The final guest of the evening is Robert Foster, seven-time WAC Champion, school record holder in the 55mh and 110mh, two-time NCAA Champion and two-time Olympian for his home country of Jamaica.
