Bulldogs Earn Spot in 2016 ITA Kick-Off Weekend

FRESNO, Calif. -- After finishing the season ranked No. 65 by the ITA, the Fresno State men's tennis team was selected to compete in the 2016 ITA Kick-Off Weekend. The Bulldogs will play in the Texas A&M bracket in College Station, Texas.
The `Dogs are the No. 4 seed in the four-team bracket and will face the No. 1-seeded Aggies in their first match. Texas A&M reached the quarterfinals of the this year's NCAA Men's Team Championship and finished the season ranked No. 5. Depending on the outcome, Fresno State will face either the No. 2 seed San Francisco or No. 3 Boise State the following day. The Dons finished the 2015 season ranked No. 51, while the Broncos were No. 59.
The 15 schools that win both of their matches at these events will be invited to play in the 2016 ITA National Men's Team Indoor Championship hosted by the University of Virginia from Feb. 12-15
