Bulldogs in the NFL: Week 1

Week 1 rundown of how former Fresno State football players did across the NFL…
FRESNO, Calif. – As the NFL season got underway last week, the Fresno State football team saw nine former players make the final 53-man cut prior to the season's start while two others were picked up by practice squads.
Here's a look around the league of how the former 'Dogs performed statistically:
WR Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers): 3 REC, 50 YDS, TD (Long: 29/TD)
Started in opener on the road at Jacksonville. Now in his third season, it was his 24th career start for the Packers. Green Bay defeated the Jaguars 27-23.
WR Isaiah Burse (San Diego Chargers): No stats
Did not see game action in opener at Kansas City. The Chiefs defeated the Chargers 33-27 in overtime.
QB Derek Carr (Oakland Raiders): 24-of-38, 319 YDS, TD | 2 RUSH, 16 YDS
The second round (36th overall) selection of the 2014 NFL Draft made his 33rd-straight start under center for the Raiders. In Oakland's 35-34 win at New Orleans, Carr completed a two-point conversion throw to Michael Crabtree to go in front with under a minute to play.
LB Chris Carter (Baltimore Ravens): No stats
Did not record statistics in limited action in opener vs. Buffalo. The Ravens defeated the Bills 17-13.
DT Tyeler Davison (New Orleans Saints): 1 TKL (solo)
After appearing in in all 16 games and making five starts as a rookie a season ago, Davison started in the Saints opener at home vs. Derek Carr's Raiders. The Saints fell 35-34.
RB Ryan Mathews (Philadelphia Eagles): 22 RUSH, 77 YDS, 1 TD
Made 59th career start as an NFL player last Sunday for the Eagles. Led the team in rushing en route to 29-10 win over Cleveland.
DB Derron Smith (Cincinnati Bengals): 1 TKL (solo)
Appeared in his 17th consecutive game for the Bengals. Cincinnati defeated the New York Jets on the road 23-22.
OL Cody Wichmann (Los Angeles Rams):
The sixth round pick of the 2015 NFL Draft made his eighth career start for the Rams last week. Los Angeles lost its season opener on Monday night 28-0 to the 49ers.
OL Kenny Wiggins (San Diego Chargers): No stats
Did not see game action in opener at Kansas City. The Chiefs defeated the Chargers 33-27 in overtime.
