• The Bulldogs will open conference play with back-to-back road games for the second consecutive season. Since 1999, only six Mountain West teams have opened league play with road games in back-to-back weeks, the 2016 'Dogs will become team No. 7.
• Fresno State owns a 13-5 record in its 18 all-time meetings against UNLV.
• This Saturday's contest will be the second trip to Las Vegas for the Bulldogs since the two became MW member institutions; the 'Dogs are 5-3 all-time at UNLV. Fresno State's last trip in 2014 (L, 30-27 OT) was the first since a 1996 visit.
• According to stats.ncaa.org, Fresno State has had the T-7th toughest schedule in the FBS through week four. The 'Dogs' three FBS opponents own a combined 10-1 record.
• The Bulldogs bolted out to a 31-0 lead vs. Tulsa, the 31 first half points were the most points scored in an opening half by a Bulldog team since the 2013 team scored 42 at San Jose State on Nov. 29.
• The Bulldogs have a pair of impact inside linebackers who both hail from Las Vegas' Bishop Gorman High School in junior Robert Stanley and sophomore Nela Otukolo.
• The 64 offensive plays run by Chason Virgil against Tulsa (45p/19r) are the most run by an individual in the Mountain West - games played through Sept. 24.
• The Bulldogs got to the quarterback for four sacks last time out vs. Tulsa; it was the most in a game for the Bulldogs since their last game vs. UNLV.
• Jamire Jordan's 65-yard TD catch versus Tulsa was his sixth career touchdown reception over 20 yards (including four over 60 yards). He has seven career TD receptions.
• It was a special night for now-defensive graduate assistant Todd Hunt last year vs. UNLV, as he was a proud new father the night before the game. He went on to have eight tackles and a sack in the Bulldogs' win.
