Bulldogs land in Oklahoma

TULSA, Okla. – Four Bulldog tennis players are set to play in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's first tournament of the 2016-17 season. The top Division I men's tennis players will be competing in the 2016 Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Tournament from Oct. 1-10. Senior Euan McIntosh and sophomores Mantas Bugailiskis, Jeremy Moser, and Patrik Pech received the invitation to compete in the tournament.

The prequalifying rounds will begin on Saturday, Oct. 1 with 256 competitors.

Euan McIntosh will open his season tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. PT against Gustavo Almeida of South Dakota State.
Â
Jeremy Moser who holds a 1-1 singles record during the fall season will compete at 10:00 a.m. PT in a match-up against Jack Macfarlane of Georgia State.

Patrik Pech who logged a 2-1 singles record at the Wildcat Invitational last weekend will play Vuk Budic of Illinois at 8:30 a.m. PT.

Lastly, fellow sophomore, Mantas Bugailiskis, will open his fall campaign against South Alabama's Juan Cruz Soria at 11:30 a.m. PT.

Only 16 student-athletes will advance from the prequalifying rounds to compete in the qualifying rounds starting Oct 3.Â
