The Fresno State doubles team went 4-2 during the fall.
FRESNO, Calif. – With the announcement of the initial ITA rankings, Fresno State's freshman doubles team of Georgia Lawson and Katerina Stloukalova were ranked No. 50. The team posted a 4-2 record during the fall season.
Â
The two first competed together at the Cal NIKE Invitational, where they went 2-1 with wins over UCLA's Alaina Miller and Kristin Wiley (8-7) and San Francisco's Emily Maxfield and Gen McCloskey (8-7). At the Jack Kramer Invitational, the Bulldogs doubles pair reached the quarterfinals with wins over UTEP's Maria Medina and Lois Wagenvoort (8-2), and UC Santa Barbara's Amanda Atanasson and Jaime Gilbertson (8-6). Like they did earlier in the season when they fell to Cal's pair of Karla Popovic and Olivia Hauger (8-7), their run at the Jack Kramer ended to another Pac-12 opponent in USC's Zoe Katz and Madison Westby (8-7).
