Glaser named MW Offensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Forward Julia Glaser was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week for games played Oct. 9 through Oct. 16. The sophomore led the Bulldogs to their first 2-0 week in conference play with six goals. The sophomore scored the game-winning goal in both matches.
This is Glaser's second-career MW weekly accolade, first for the Bulldogs this season.
Fresno State defeated UNLV 4-1 on Friday, Oct. 13. Glaser scored all four of Fresno State's goals in the match. The four goals and eight points marked career-highs for Glaser. She tied the Fresno State program record for most goals in a single-game, the record was set in 2000. Glaser's four goals and eight points were also MW single-game highs.
The 'Dogs outlasted the Wolf Pack 3-1 on Sunday, Oct. 15. Glaser contributed two goals to the win. Glaser logged a season-high six shots in the contest.
The Lorrach, Germany native finished the two matches with a combined ten shots, including six on goal, along with six goals and 12 points.
After the weekend, Glaser leads the conference in goals (13), goals per game (0.81), points (27) and points per game (1.69). Â Nationally, Glaser ranks No. 4 in goals and No. 10 in points.
