Bulldogs in the NFL: Week 7

FRESNO, Calif. - Week seven of the NFL season saw former Bulldog football legend Derek Carr lead a game-winning fourth quarter drive to help the Oakland Raiders to a win on Thursday Night Football.

WR Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers): Adams had two receptions for 12 yards in the Packers' 26-17 loss at home against the New Orleans Saints. The Packers (4-3) are on the bye week in week eight and return to action in primetime on Monday Night Football hosting the Detroit Lions (3-3) on Nov. 6.
Adams' season stats: 30 receptions, 351 yards, 5 touchdowns

QB Derek Carr (Oakland Raiders): Carr helped engineer a fourth quarter comeback at home on Thursday Night Football as the Raiders defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-30 finding Michael Crabtree on the game's final play. Carr finished 29-of-52 passing for 417 yards (second-most in his career) and threw three touchdowns. The Raiders (3-4) travel to the Buffalo Bills (4-2) on Sunday in week eight.

Carr's season stats: 124-of-191, 1,341 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, 4 interceptions

LB Chris Carter (Washington Redskins): Carter played in his sixth game of the season on Monday Night Football as the Redskins fell 34-24 at Philadelphia, but did not record any statistics. Washington (3-3) hosts the Dallas Cowboys (3-3) on Sunday in week eight.
Carter's season stats: 3 tackles

DT Tyeler Davison (New Orleans Saints): Davison recorded one solo tackle in the Saints' 26-17 win at the Green Bay Packers. New Orleans (4-2) hosts the Chicago Bears (3-4) on Sunday in week eight.
Davison's season stats: 12 tackles, 9 solo, 1 pass defended, 1 QB hit

OL Bryce Harris (Detroit Lions): Harris was re-signed by the Saints on Oct. 13 after playing in two games for New Orleans earlier this season, but released by the team four days later on Oct. 17. Harris was signed the following day by the Detroit Lions, who were on their bye week, and return to action this week on Sunday Night Football hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2).

LB Ben Jacobs (Carolina Panthers): Jacobs saw action for a seventh-straight week in the Panthers' 17-3 loss at the Bears. Carolina (4-3) heads to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-4) on Sunday in week eight.

CB Curtis Riley (Tennessee Titans): Riley played in his sixth game of the season, but did not record any statistics in the Titans' 12-9 overtime win at the Cleveland Browns. Tennessee (4-3) is on its bye week in week eight and returns to action on Nov. 5 hosting the Baltimore Ravens (3-4).

Riley's season stats: 12 tackles, 8 solo, 1 interception, 1 pass defended

DB Derron Smith (Cincinnati Bengals): Smith was inactive for the Bengals' 29-14 loss at the Steelers on Sunday. Cincinnati (2-4) hosts the Indianapolis Colts (2-5) in week eight.

DB Charles Washington (Detroit Lions): Washington was on its bye week on week seven and returns to action in primetime on Sunday Night Football hosting the Steelers (5-2) in week eight.
Washington's season stats: 8 tackles, 6 solo

OL Kenny Wiggins (Los Angeles Chargers): Wiggins started at right guard for a seventh-straight week as the Los Angeles Chargers won its third straight game shutting out the Denver Broncos 21-0 at home. The Chargers (3-4) travel to the New England Patriots (5-2) on Sunday in week eight.
