Bulldogs in the NFL: Week 8

FRESNO, Calif. - Week eight of the NFL season saw former Bulldog and current New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Tyeler Davison fill up the stat sheet helping the Saints to their fifth straight victory.

WR Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers): The Packers (4-3) had their bye week in week eight and return to action in week nine on Monday Night Football hosting the Detroit Lions (3-4) on Nov. 6.
Adams' season stats: 30 receptions, 351 yards, 5 touchdowns

QB Derek Carr (Oakland Raiders): Carr went 31-of-49 passing for 313 yards tossing a touchdown and two interceptions in a 34-14 loss at Buffalo (5-2). It was Carr's 13th career 300-yard passing game. The Raiders (3-5) travel to the Miami Dolphins (4-3) in week nine for Sunday Night Football.

Carr's season stats: 155-of-240, 1,654 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, 6 interceptions

LB Chris Carter (Washington Redskins): Carter had a one solo tackle in the Redskins' 33-19 loss at home to the Dallas Cowboys (4-3). Washington (3-4) travels to the Seattle Seahawks (5-2) on Sunday in week nine.
Carter's season stats: 4 tackles, 2 solo

DT Tyeler Davison (New Orleans Saints): Davison recorded two tackles, one solo, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hit on the Chicago Bears' Mitch Trubisky in the Saints' 20-12 win at home over Chicago. The Saints (5-2) host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-5) on Sunday in week nine.
Davison's season stats: 14 tackles, 10 solo, 1 tackle for loss, 1 pass defended, 2 QB hits

OL Bryce Harris (Detroit Lions): Harris has played two games this season with the Saints before being released on Oct. 17. He was signed the next day by the Lions before being released this week on Oct. 26.

LB Ben Jacobs (Carolina Panthers): Jacobs recorded a solo tackle in Carolina's 17-3 win at Tampa Bay on Sunday. Carolina (5-3) hosts the Atlanta Falcons (4-3) on Sunday in week nine.
Jacobs' season stats: 1 solo tackle

CB Curtis Riley (Tennessee Titans): Riley and Tennessee was on their bye week in week eight and returns to action this Sunday hosting the Baltimore Ravens (4-4).

Riley's season stats: 12 tackles, 8 solo, 1 interception, 1 pass defended

DB Derron Smith (Cincinnati Bengals): Smith played for the first time since week two on Sunday in the Bengals' 24-23 win at home over the Indianapolis Colts (2-6). Cincinnati (3-4) travels to the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-3) in week nine.

DB Charles Washington (Detroit Lions): Washington did not record in any statistics in the Lions' 20-15 loss at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2) on Sunday Night Football. Detroit (3-4) travels to Green Bay (4-3) in week nine on Monday Night Football.
Washington's season stats: 8 tackles, 6 solo

OL Kenny Wiggins (Los Angeles Chargers): Wiggins started at right guard for the eighth straight week in the Chargers' 21-13 loss at the New England Patriots (6-2). Los Angeles has its bye week on Sunday before returning to action on Nov. 12 traveling to Jacksonville (4-3).
