• Fresno State celebrates homecoming when New Mexico comes to town for the first time since 2013.
• The Bulldogs own five-straight wins in their series with the Lobos, the longest win streak they own against any Mountain West team.
• Fresno State is 2-0 in Mountain West play for the first time since 2014. Its last 3-0 start was in 2013.
• Juju Hughes was named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week on Monday after filling up the stat sheet vs. San Jose State with six tackles (4 solo), 2.0 TFLs, 1.0 sacks, one forced fumble, one interception and one QB hurry.
• Key Stat: Fresno State enters its game against New Mexico with a rushing defense that ranks 19th in the FBS, allowing just 107.2 yards per game, while the Lobos, known for its ground attack, enters the game averaging 266.8 yards per contest with its option offense.
• In the Lobos last trip to Bulldog Stadium, Fresno State set a school and Mountain West record with 822 yards of total offense in its 2013 victory over the Lobos.
• Junior quarterback Marcus McMaryion is the first quarterback since Jim Arellanes in 1995 to win his first two starts under center as a Bulldog.
• The Bulldogs rank No. 12 in the FBS and No. 2 in the MW with just five turnovers lost.
• The 'Dogs rank No. 30 in the FBS in turnovers gained; their 11 turnovers in five games have already surpassed their season total of nine in 2016.
• Last Saturday at San Jose State, Fresno State did not allow a chunk play (an explosive play for more than 20 yards) for the first time since September 29, 2007 vs. Louisiana Tech.
• Thirty-four Bulldogs have seen their first game action while at Fresno State this season.
