Notes:
• Fresno State is set to tee off its first event of the spring semester this week, Feb. 17-19 (Fri.-Sun.).
• Fresno State has five events on its spring schedule before the Mountain West Championship Tournament, April 21-23, at OMNI Tucson National.
• This week's tournament will be the ninth-annual Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate presented by Cleveland Golf, and will be the first visit to the event for the 'Dogs.
• Through five fall events, the Bulldogs closed their fall season with their best finish of the season, fourth place, at the Saint Mary's Invitational.
• Through five fall events, Alex Lee leads the 'Dogs with three low-individual finishes, as well as the best overall low finish: a tie for eighth place at the Nick Watney Invitational.
• Of the 22 schools in competition this weekend, three rank in the top 25 and six rank within the top 100 – according to Golfstat rankings.
• The Classic Club is a nationally recognized championship course designed by Arnold Palmer and a host site of the 2006, 2007, and 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.
• Weather at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate on Friday (High 63F, Low 55F) is forecasted to have an 80 percent chance of rain and 10-15 mph winds; Saturday (High 63F, Low 52F) is forecasted to have a 90 percent chance of rain and light and variable winds; Sunday (High 65F, Low 55F) is forecasted to have a 20 percent chance of rain and 5-10 mph winds.
