'Dogs pick up road win at Saint Mary's

MORAGA, Calif. – The Fresno State men's tennis team defeated Saint Mary's College Sunday afternoon 4-0. The Bulldogs improve to 1-2 on the season.
Fresno State jumped out to a 1-0 lead after earning the doubles point.
The Fresno State doubles team of Patrik Pech and Euan McIntosh defeated Nash Vollenweider and Daniel Krutik 7-6.
The Saint Mary's duo of Calvin Jordaan and Brian Lee defeated Xander Veys and Henrique Osorio at the No. 2 position 6-3.
The Bulldogs clinched the doubles point at the No. 3 position when Mantas Bugailiskis and Youssef Hassan defeated Matis Bot and Manuel De Luis Lamelas 6-3.
Xander Veys played in the No. 1 position for the Bulldogs defeating Nash Vollebweider 6-1, 6-4. Veys improves to 3-0 in singles this season.
Euan McIntosh defeated Daniel De Luis Lamelas at the No. 2 spot 6-2, 6-3.
The Bulldogs received their final point to win the match at the No. 5 position when Mantas Bugailiskis defeated Matis Bot 6-2, 6-3.
