Fresno State junior Mimi Ho earns the Bulldogs first weekly award of the 2017 spring season
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Junior Mimi Ho was named the Mountain West Women's Golfer of the Week for tournaments played March 13-17, announced by the league on Tuesday. It is Ho's second career weekly accolade.

At the Fresno State Classic, March 13-14, Ho placed third out of 72 individuals thanks to a strong finish that included 24-straight bogey-free holes to close the tournament.

The junior's 3-under-par 69 during the third round was one of two carded over 216 total rounds by the field, the lowest of the event – the only other 68 was carded in the second round by the eventual tournament champion – the No. 15-ranked individual by Golfstat, Martina Edberg.

Ho matched her career 54-hole low at the Fresno State Classic with an even-par 216 and it set the all-time best mark for a Bulldog at the Fresno State Classic.

The first Mountain West weekly award Ho received was on Feb. 12, 2015 during her freshman season after Long Beach State's Gold Rush.
