Mimi Ho continues to pace women’s golf team in Hawai’i

Led by a top 10 score from Mimi Ho, the ‘Dogs are sixth among 15 teams at the Anuenue Classic
KAPALUA, Maui – The Bulldogs sit comfortably in sixth place, owning a six shot lead on UC Davis, after the second round of the 15-team Anuenue Classic on Tuesday. The 'Dogs are 12 shots back from fifth-place No. 1 Stanford.
Mimi Ho owns a top 10 ranking after 36 holes following back-to-back 1-over-par 73's to start the Classic. At 2-over-par (144), she is tied for ninth-place heading into the final round. She is seeking consecutive top 10 stroke play finishes after earning third place at the Fresno State Classic on March 14.
Gudrun Bjorgvinsdottir made the biggest move up the leaderboard during the second round for the Bulldogs, rising 20 positions. The senior is tied for 23rd following a bounce back 1-over-par 73 after an opening round 78.
Kristin Simonsen and Joanna Kim are both tied for 35th at 10-over-par after Monday's and Tuesday's rounds. Simonsen fired a 9-over-par 81 while Kim carded a 5-over-par 77 in the second round.
Yifei Wang shot an 8-over-par 80 on Tuesday and is 13-over-par for the tournament; she is tied for 48th.
The 90-person field averaged a 77.13 on the Kapalua Bay course on Tuesday.
The Anuenue Classic continues at 9:45 a.m. PT on Wednesday with the final round.
